For your next raclette evening, we highly recommend our beautifully marbled steaks. You can prepare the teriyaki sauce quickly and easily using this Asian recipe.
Ingredients for 4 people
| 0.8-1 kg | Wagyu Raclette Package |
| to taste | Salt & pepper |
| 2 tbsp | sesame seeds |
| 2 tbsp | Chopped coriander |
| 60 ml | soy sauce |
| 60 ml | Water |
| 2 tbsp | Rice vinegar (Mirin) |
| 2 tbsp | Brown sugar |
| 3 toes | Garlic |
| 2 tsp | Fresh ginger |
preparation
- To make the teriyaki sauce, first peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic. Then sauté the ginger and garlic in a pan. Add the sugar and melt it, stirring constantly. Add the soy sauce, water, and mirin. Once everything is well combined, reduce the teriyaki sauce over medium heat, stirring continuously.
- Meanwhile, slice the Wagyu beef across the grain into thin strips. Then, lightly toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan.
- Then the raclette evening can begin: The meat can be drizzled with teriyaki sauce while it's cooking on the raclette grill. We recommend grilling the meat to a maximum of medium (52°C). Finally , sprinkle with sesame seeds and coriander.
- As a side dish, we recommend grilled vegetables such as peppers, mushrooms and sugar snap peas.
