The idea for Wagyu Sauerland originated during Christoph's stay abroad in Australia.
There he worked on a Wagyu farm, tasted real Wagyu beef for the first time – and was immediately impressed. Back home, it was clear: We're going to try something new. We're going to breed Wagyu cattle.
From raising to marketing, we handle everything ourselves. With the highest standards of animal welfare, respect, and care, we produce unique Wagyu beef. Our passion pays off: in 2025/26, we received our third gold award at the Wagyu Meat Contest – for the best Wagyu beef in Germany!
