We are Kati & Christoph, we are not only the farmers behind #wagyusauerland, but also organize fairs and tasting events every year and love cooking and good food!
The idea for Wagyu Sauerland was born during Christoph's job abroad in Australia. Christoph worked on a Wagyu farm there and tasted Wagyu for the first time and was thrilled. Back home, he decided to do something new and breed Wagyu cattle!
Today, we have everything from rearing to marketing in our own hands and show that you can produce an incredibly delicious end product with a lot of animal welfare, respect and care! Because we do all of this with so much passion, we are delighted to have been on the podium at the Wagyu Meat Contest for the third time in a row in 2023.
